WHAT TREATMENT LOOKS LIKE

Our work together spans 6-12 sessions, tailored to your unique goals and needs. Each 60-minute session is a blend of therapy and hypnosis, where we’ll uncover and address your blocks, and reprogram more supportive thoughts and responses in both your mind and body.

Between sessions, you’ll receive tools to practice, along with a personalized self-hypnosis recording as you progress in your treatment. This is an active, collaborative process—a true co-creation. By the end of our journey together, you’ll feel empowered and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with newfound resilience.

  • Yes, hypnotherapy is a safe and natural process. It’s a gentle, non-invasive therapy with no harmful side effects. I am a trained and certified hypnotherapist, ensuring that your experience is professional and ethical. Hypnosis is a relaxed state of focused attention that we all experienced on a day to day basis.

    No, you will not lose control. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, and you remain fully aware and in control throughout the session. You cannot be made to do or say anything against your will. Instead, hypnotherapy empowers you to make positive changes in your life.

  • Due to the fact our programing and patterns are often incredibly deep, I do not work with clients over 1 session. Although hypnotherapy treatment is shorter than usually talk therapy we still need time and repetition to identify and create lasting change in the mind and body. It would be a disservice for me to offer just one of sessions, unless we had worked together previously.

  • Hypnosis is a natural state that we enter several times a day, like when we’re deeply focused on a book or daydreaming whilst driving. If you’re open to the process and willing to relax, you’ll likely find that hypnotherapy I possible for you. We can also work in sessions to improve your hypnotic ability.

  • Attend your session with an open mind in a place you are safe and feel comfortable to relax. It’s helpful to be well-rested and hydrated. You don’t need to do anything special to prepare, but if you have any questions or concerns, we can discuss them beforehand.

  • The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and the NHS recommend CBT in the treatment of anxiety and depression, and there is also good evidence that CBT can help with many other conditions such as panic attacks, phobias, sleep problems. stress-related conditions, changing habits etc.

    ​According to research, hypnosis, in combination with CBT, can be more effective than CBT alone for many conditions. Treatment is also usually much quicker , on average 4-6 sessions compared to 5-20 when the client is treated using CBT alone.
